Is it really one-on-one tutoring?

Yes---When we say "one-on-one tutoring," we mean it! We assign one individual instructor to spearhead your student's education here at Andover Tutoring Scene. Unless specifically stated, such as in a group course, our tutoring services are individualized and private.
Does my student need to do an assessment before starting tutoring?
We do not require new students to complete an assessment before beginning private lessons, however, it is often helpful for younger students to do one. If you are unsure of your student's academic weaknesses, an assessment is one of the best ways to help begin their journey to success in school.
Does the monthly subscription require a long-term commitment?

No, our monthly subscription packages do not require a long-term commitment. You can cancel your subscription any time without incurring a penalty, as long as you confirm your cancellation in writing at least 7 days before the next billing period begins.
Do I need to bring anything to tutoring?
Students are not required to bring any materials with them to tutoring, since Andover Tutoring Scene has everything students need to get started. Many students, however, often find it beneficial to bring their current school work, their previous test scores/records, etc., to help their tutor better identify their academic needs and aid them accordingly.
What is the policy for missed lessons?
We offer makeup lessons for excused absences only. If notice is given with at least 24 hours notice, students can reschedule the lesson directly with their tutor.
Is Andover Tutoring Scene closed for any holidays?

Our office is closed for Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Eve through New Year's Day.
