Jen Boyet, COO and head of HR, joined the Andover Tutoring Scene team on April 11, 2022. Owner Kyle Shook had seen exponential growth in just the first year of business and decided to hire for the future. "I saw how quickly we grew in just our first six months and made the decision that ATS could grow into a multi-facility business. I knew I couldn't do it by myself, and I needed someone who could help me with my vision. Jen was the perfect candidate."
Prior to joining ATS, Jen worked in boutique talent acquisition firms for four years, assisting diverse corporate clients in identifying top global executives. She also taught US history at the undergraduate level for two years. Jen holds her master's and bachelor's degrees in history from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. "She seemed like a piece to a puzzle for Andover Tutoring Scene that fit perfectly."
In addition to her duties overseeing all operations and HR, Jen also manages her own clientele of students, primarily college and high school students, as well as teaches the English and Reading sections of the ACT Prep Course. With her academic background, Jen has expanded ATS's services to encompass Wichita's college student populations, successfully piloted the company's study skills offerings, and launched the new group Literature Course on Friday afternoons.
As an executive team, Jen and Kyle are always looking for ways to improve ATS's tutoring services. They make a great team, because of Kyle's background in business and Jen's background in education. Together, they hope to influence the greater Wichita area community's approach to education as a whole.
